What is PokéIsaac?
PokéIsaac is a free browser roguelike that mixes Pokémon with The Binding of Isaac. You clear rooms of wild Pokémon, collect items and go down floor by floor, with 971 Pokémon and 350 items to find. It is made by SrBatai and played at pokeisaac.com.
Is PokéIsaac free?
Yes. PokéIsaac is 100% free to play in your browser at pokeisaac.com. There is nothing to buy; the Gacha uses Tokens you earn by playing.
Who made PokéIsaac?
SrBatai (@SrBatai on X) announced it on October 19, 2026. It is an unofficial, free fan game.
Can I play PokéIsaac on mobile?
Yes. It runs in phone and tablet browsers with touch controls. On PC you can use keyboard and mouse or a gamepad.
Does PokéIsaac have co-op?
Not right now. The main menu lists online co-op for up to four players, but on v1.0.12 it is marked "Switched off for now". All runs are single player until the developer turns it back on.
Do I need an account?
No, you can play as a guest. But only runs played with an account earn Tokens for the Gacha, and an account keeps your collection safe if you change browser or device.
What languages is PokéIsaac in?
Spanish, English and, since v1.0.12, French. Pick the language in Options → Game; changing it reloads the game. It does not follow your browser's language.
Why is PokéIsaac not loading?
Refresh the page, then try an up-to-date Chrome, Edge or Firefox. Disable ad blockers and other extensions for pokeisaac.com, make sure hardware acceleration is on, and check the developer's X account in case the servers are busy after an update.
Can I stop a run and continue it later?
Yes. Pause and pick Save & quit. The game says the run can be continued later, even from another device. Closing the tab instead may lose the run's rewards.
My guest progress disappeared. What happened?
Guest progress is stored in the browser you played in. Clearing site data, using private mode or switching browser or device makes it look lost. Go back to the original browser, and create an account to keep progress safe.
Is PokéIsaac an official Pokémon game?
No. It is an unofficial fan game, not made or endorsed by Nintendo, The Pokémon Company or the makers of The Binding of Isaac.
Is PokéIsaac the same as PokeBonk?
No. PokeBonk is a different fan game, a 3D survivors-like by another developer. PokéIsaac is a top-down room-by-room roguelike in the style of The Binding of Isaac.
